Anna Gincherman is the Vice President for Strategic Partnerships at Women’s World Banking, the global nonprofit devoted to giving more low-income women access to the financial tools and resources they require to achieve security and prosperity. She is responsible for leading Women's World Banking’s partnership development with financial service providers, government regulators and other stakeholders committed to women’s financial inclusion.
Throughout her career with Women's World Banking, Anna has led projects to develop innovative financial solutions with a range of partners from NGOs in Latin America to commercial banks in Africa to mobile network operators in South Asia.
Prior to joining Women’s World Banking, Anna worked for the Council on Economic Priorities and the United Nations, focusing on defense conversion programs in Eastern Europe. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College and a Master’s in Public Affairs from the University of Pennsylvania. She is fluent in English and Russian.
